Hive Lighting is an American design and manufacturing company dedicated to bringing efficiency and sustainability to entertainment.  Hive Lighting manufactures high performance, energy efficient LEDs for Film, Photo, TV, Digital, Science and Live Events.  Based in Los Angeles, Hive designs and manufactures its products proudly in California, inspired by Southern California’s rich traditions of Entertainment and Northern California’s drive for technological innovation.  From major motion pictures to amateur photography, Hive creates lighting products to offer anyone in the business of image capture superior quality, efficiency and control.  We believe technology can be a tool to tell unique stories and lift up new voices and we are committed to using our products to democratize production and support a diversity of voices.  To learn more about us, our team and our products please follow our Instagram and YouTube channels.

Commitment to Sustainability:

Hive Lighting was founded around the idea that energy efficiency and quality could go hand in hand.  To that end not only does Hive produce energy efficient products, Hive is committed to producing these products sustainably.  All of our products are ROHS compliant and use recycled and recyclable materials like aluminum whenever possible.  We  have discontinued single use plastic in all of our packaging materials in 2019 in favor of recycled and biodegradable packaging alternatives and currently purchase carbon offsets for all of our direct shipping to and from Hive.   We are proud to be a Certified Los Angeles Green Business since 2017, and we continue to look for opportunities to decrease waste and the carbon footprint of our company wherever possible.
