Is the Hive CX and C-Series Flicker Free? (Hint: Yes)

YES, Hive is Flicker Free! All Hive Omni-Color LEDs including all C-Series and CX fixtures use pure DC dimming (no Hz rate) and are entirely Flicker-Free at any frame rate or shutter angle combination from 30 – 100% output.
Below 30% the light introduces a 25Khz PWM, which is still a very high hertz rate (standard US AC wall power has a hertz rate of 60hz). With such a high Hz rate even below 30% dimming any frame rate below 500fps will be safe! In between 500fps and 2500fps the light may be Flicker-Free depending on the shutter angle and the dimming level. The tighter the shutter angle and the lower the output level the greater the risk of seeing flicker above 500fps.
