Robert Rutherford is the co-founder and CEO of Hive Lighting, a Los Angeles based cleantech company that designs and manufactures energy efficient Plasma lights for Film, Television, Digital and Sports production. Prior to Hive, Rob was a founding partner at GGI, an energy efficiency consultancy for clients including Google, Dynaroll, EJM Development and others. In the entertainment industries, he has worked as the Chief of Staff to the CEOs of Film & TV finance company MRC (Media Rights Capital) as well as an agent assistant at the Endeavor Talent Agency, now WME. Rob earned a BA from Brown University with a double concentration in Modern Culture & Media, and English Literature.

Jon Edward Miller is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Hive Lighting, a Los Angeles based cleantech company that designs and manufactures energy efficient Plasma lights for Film, Television, Digital and Sports production. Prior to Hive, Jonworked as a Director of Photography for FX Network, Pepsi, American Apparel, Quiksilver, Toyota, Heineken, MTV, and mtvU. His work has also been seen at film festivals including the Gen Art Film Festival, Stockholm International Film Festival , and The Vancouver International Film Festival. Jon earned a B.A. with honors from Brown University and a Master of Fine Arts from University of Southern California’s School of the Cinematic Arts where he received the Thomas B. Bush Scholarship for Excellence in Cinematography. In conjunction with his work at Hive, Jon continues to work as a Director of Photography splitting his time between Los Angeles and New York.
